Nobody is added without agreeing
A relative's profile joins only when they approve the invite, and the invite says plainly that their card — and their full birth details — will be reachable by anyone holding the link.
Two separate locks
A family PIN hides the whole page from anyone with the link. A member's own PIN protects their own profile — a family PIN never opens it.
Always current
Cards read the live profile every time the page loads, so a renewal or a new PIN takes effect immediately. Nothing is copied.
