What's New

The latest improvements to our Vedic astrology tools — accuracy updates aligned with the classical texts, new chart features, and product changes. Newest first.

  1. Truer strengths and divisional charts

    • The ascendant, house (bhava) chart, ayanamsa and calendar now always reflect the exact birth moment, and every chart reliably uses its own selected ayanamsa.
    • Planetary strength is sharper: the Sun's Shad Bala requirement now follows the classical 6.5 rupas, and exalted planets such as Mercury are correctly reported as exalted.
    • Ashtakavarga now matches the standard reference for Sodhya Pinda and adds a reduced (Sodhita) grid, plus a new D-60 (Shashtiamsa) ruling deity and classical nature for each planet.
    • The planetary-combination (yoga) engine was refined across two review rounds against the classical texts, so each yoga forms only under its true conditions, with clearer context shown.
    • The Saturn transit / Sade Sati timeline is now retrograde-aware, ending each phase at Saturn's true final exit from a sign, and birth-time handling was improved for coastal and at-sea locations.
  2. Daily Panchang and a transit workbench

    • Added a complete daily Panchang: the five limbs, sunrise and sunset, auspicious and inauspicious windows, Choghadiya, and Hindu-calendar (Samvat) details.
    • New Gochara transit workbench — live transits now return both the Rasi (D-1) and Navamsa (D-9) charts together, with a full planet-by-planet transit table.
    • New month-by-month Saturn / Sade Sati timeline, built from Saturn's Ashtakavarga transit.
    • The Longevity (Ayurdaya) reference now shows each classical signal side by side with its textual source and reads more clearly, leaving the interpretation to you.
    • The Shad Bala strength table now aligns every strength source with its correct row.
  3. Exact birthplaces and transits

    • Rebuilt the birthplace database with far more cities, corrected coordinates and spelling, and added elevation, so charts are cast from the exact birth location.
    • Introduced a full transit (Gochara) and auspicious-timing (Muhurta) engine, with sign-ingress timing and date-by-date transit details.
    • Corrected the Vasya and Varna classifications across all twelve Moon signs, and made birth-time handling Daylight-Saving-aware for exact timing.
    • The Sarvatobhadra and Kalachakra chakra charts now show all planets.
  4. More dasha systems, finer controls

    • Brought the engine up to the latest classical reference release: 11 additional dasha (planetary-period) systems, refreshed panchang calculations, and accuracy improvements across yogas and longevity.
    • You can now fine-tune latitude, longitude and timezone for a more precise birth chart.
    • The Key Info table now includes the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) and the Varnada Lagna.
  5. Dashas, longevity and divisional detail

    • Sharpened the dasha (planetary-period) calculations and streamlined the ladder to clear Maha, Bhukti and Antara levels.
    • Added a classical longevity (Ayurdaya) reference built on the traditional lifespan-bracket methods.
    • Completed the D-150 Amsa Ruler table, including the Yogi and Avayogi points, and the outer planets now show by name.
    • Refreshed the compatibility matching with updated classical reference data.
  6. Outer planets, by name

    • Outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are now included in your chart.
    • They now appear by name in the Kalachakra chart instead of a number.
  7. Nadiamsa view and a truer Kalachakra

    • New D-150 Nadiamsa divisional-chart view that groups its amsa rulers clearly.
    • The Kalachakra chart now aligns to the Sun's nakshatra for a more accurate layout.
  8. Saturn transits and Arudha Padas

    • Your chart now includes Saturn's transit journey, with Sade Sati and its key phases calculated to astronomical precision.
    • Retrograde planets are now identified from each planet's true motion, so they are flagged only when genuinely retrograde.
    • Arudha Padas are now available across the divisional charts, not just the main chart.
